HomeStroke is not monitored as an emergency service. Call 911 in the United States or the applicable local emergency number.

Any safety or risk score is an estimate based on user input, rules, and possibly Mobile App scan results. It is not a validated clinical assessment, diagnosis, building inspection, or guarantee. A low score does not mean no hazards exist, and a high score does not identify every required intervention.

These features apply only to the Mobile App. The public Website does not access a camera, device location, room photos, or AI room analysis.

AI can miss or invent hazards and should not be used alone for transfers, load-bearing installations, electrical or plumbing work, structural decisions, or emergencies. Device location may be inaccurate and does not verify contractor licensing, service area, or availability. Photos may reveal people, documents, screens, addresses, and belongings; frame them carefully and obtain permission from anyone shown.

HomeStroke is not a licensed inspection, accessibility assessment, engineering review, code inspection, or occupational-therapy home evaluation. Hidden conditions, structural defects, electrical hazards, water damage, code issues, and user-specific transfer needs may not be visible to the Service.

Grab bars, handrails, transfer poles, ramps, and similar supports can fail if incorrectly selected or installed. Do not fasten a grab bar into drywall alone. Confirm wall construction, studs or blocking, rated anchors, fasteners, corrosion resistance, load rating, placement, clearances, and code. Use a qualified installer and seek professional confirmation. No-drill products have their own limits and are not automatically equivalent to a structural installation.

Renters should obtain landlord approval before drilling or modifying fixtures. Renter-friendly labels and landlord-request templates are informational, not legal advice. Structural, electrical, plumbing, ramp, doorway, stair, and lift work may require licensed professionals, permits, inspections, landlord approval, or homeowners-association approval.

Contractors and clinicians are independent third parties. Verify identity, licenses, insurance, references, scope, price, and permits. Product details, prices, availability, certifications, recalls, and warranties are controlled by manufacturers and retailers and may change. A listing, link, or recommendation is not an endorsement or warranty by Stroke Technology.

Cost bands, budgets, labor ranges, and timelines are rough estimates, not quotes or guarantees. HomeStroke does not provide financial, insurance, tax, grant, or benefits advice and does not guarantee reimbursement, financing, savings, or eligibility.
